John Sansalone, PE M.ASCE, Life Member, President of the Mid-Hudson Branch (on right) unexpectedly passed away on June 17, 2019. John was a graduate of NYU where he received both a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. After 37 years of service with the DEP he retired in 2017 and in the same year became a Life Member of ASCE. John was highly knowledgeable in aspects of civil engineering and engaged all the board members old and new. He was especially supportive of the newly formed Younger Members Forum and attended all their activities and events.
John was an active member of the Gardiner Volunteer Fire Department, NYWEA and several other organizations.
John will be missed by all of us.
